The Principles of Polarity
The Center for Integrative Polarity defines Polarity as the therepuetic application of a set of universally held principles. So, what are these principles?
1. Unity of Life
"The soul is a unit drop of the ocean of the Eternal Spirit which is the dweller in the body as the knower, seer, and doer; it experiences all sensation and action."
Volume 1, Bk.2
2. Mind & Soul Energy Precedes Form
"Mind is the finest substance of matter operating in three bodies as three fields of consciousness."
Volume 2. Pg 207
All form and function in the universe is precipitated upon the mental patterning set into motion by source, or unified source, and undergoes a step-down into denser currents and is the link between consciousness and matter.
Our individual journey is experienced via mind energy, which organizes our perception of embodied conscious life via patterning, the senses and internal autonomic activity.

Polarity Therapy is the work of attuning our body with our soul, which remains intact and untouched as witness and instigator at the center of all movement and sound within.
3. The Three Universal Motions
"All energy flows either from the center outward...or from the surface inward"
Volume 2. Pg 208
The three universal motions describes the cyclical and wave-like patterning created as energy moves from a unified field of source consciousness (sattva guna) into a mental field of space and time (rajas guna), then arcs toward home again (tamas guna).
These fundamental motions, and the interplay of their negative, positive and neutral quality or forces, become the polarity principle in the body.
Our life experience is perceived and organized according to patterns of involution (rajas), and evolution (tamas) acting in proportion and harmony with a neutral, stabalizing core (Sattva).
This pattern of interplaying forces are present in the quantum mechanics of our environment, in our biofields, in our mental and emotional process, in the formation and function of our body systems and as the foundational premise of our body's homeostatic function.
4. As Above So Below
“No Matter how long or how short a stick is, there are always two ends and a middle; or a central core and a shell, if the object is round.
Vol. 1, Book 3
Conscious experiencing exists along the spectrum of energetic currents within the unified gradient we call embodied life. as two, seemingly opposite ends of one wave; able to exist in multiple expressions of itself at a given point of time and space and governed by the laws of attraction & repulsion.
